Vintage Rotary Phone Lo-Fi Mics are almost gone!

This is another one of the rotary telephone lo-fi microphone units I built.
It has two mics with two separate outputs.
The mouthpiece is on a 9V powered circuit which you can use just a 9V pedal power supply. It has an on/off switch which makes it great to use as a talkback mic. It also has a LP tone knob on the side to cut the high frequencies.
The earpiece is passive, does not need a power supply, you can use that second output to connect directly into a mic preamp. It is gonna be a lot lower than the first output so you might need to crank up that gain on that mic preamp.
I think they both sound a lot better when used with a really nice preamp and/or tube preamp & compressor. I‘ll include a demo video down below to show you how they sound raw directly in through some UA apollo mic preamps.
Those are some vintage telephones I collect and convert into fun projects, so they are not perfect. Expect some flaws and cosmetic damages here and there. I d love help you out if you had any problems with them in the future so please reach out if you have any questions.
